You are beautiful. You are strong. I know you’ve forgotten. But I see you.
The more I worked with families the more I kept hearing from my ladies, those mama bears, that they haven't gotten pictures in forever and didn't have any of themselves. They've put in so much loving time and care to prepare everyone for their session. Picking out outfits, picking out outfits again, bugging hubby about his schedule, all the things. I know cause I'm there alongside you, talking about color schemes and best location time of day. I know how much work is going into this.
So it started..... I began taking solo portraits of moms. At first just pulling them aside to snag a few shots, then sneaking in a secondary location nearby and asking to come a few mins early so we can finish our session with something special just for them. It's been calling in my heart for a while now to show how incredibly beautiful moms are. How strong they are.. But mostly to show that they are still capable of loving themselves, even if their heart is full with their lil blessings. I want each lady to leave feeling beautiful and to have that confidence. In 10 years looking back you should say "Aww look how tiny my babies were.." but also "Wow look how amazing my hair looked and how happy I am there."
